Bio

Jenn Peek is a multidisciplinary artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in sculpture, from the University of North Florida. Her artwork focuses on processes of cast iron and steel fabrication, as well as utilizing elements of fiberglass, foam, fabric, video, photography, printmaking, resin and ceramics. Inspired by metamorphosis, rebirth and her nomadic life experiences, Peek creates a sense of movement and tension within stationary compositions to elicit a feeling of momentum and change.
Peek’s work has been shown in multiple locations such as the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) Jacksonville where her solo exhibit (I)dentify as Phoenix was on display December 2019 – April 2020. Additional exhibits include the National Ornamental Metal Museum at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, Birmingham, AL and can be found in multiple sculpture parks in Jacksonville Florida, including “Sculpture Walk Springfield” in Klutho Park, “UNF Sculpture Garden” in Downtown Hemming Park, and “UNF Seaside Sculpture Park” at Jacksonville Beach.
